Angry Trout Cafe is committed to operating in accordance with the concept of sustainability, striving to have a positive effect on our community economically, socially, and environmentally

Alliance for Sustainability to bring about personal, organizational & planetary sustainability through support of projects that are ecologically sound, economically viable, socially just and humane.

Duluth Community Garden Program to strengthen the Duluth area community and foster self-sufficiency by providing access for all to food production and preservation resources and promoting sustainable gardening practices.

Lake Superior Farm Beginnings is a program of the Sustainable Farming Association, licensed by the Land Stewardship Project. LSFB provides opportunities for beginning and transitioning farmers to learn firsthand about value clarification and goal setting, whole farm planning, business plan development, marketing and distribution, financial management and low-cost, sustainable farming methods

Shalom Seed Sanctuary is a non-profit organization established to address agricultural genetic erosion and sustainable living issues.

Silver Creek Institute a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving as a working model of sustainable living.

Slow Food Lake Superior is an idea, a way of living and a way of eating. It is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment.

Superior Grown Directory Superior Grown is a trademarked name, logo and directory used to create a unique identity for regional farmers and for business that support local agriculture.

Sustainable Food Systems Curriculum is a 10 class series that was created here and has been taught in local school and is housed at the non-profit oraganization Shalom Seed Sanctuary

Sustainable Farming Association Northeastast MN Chapter is a non-profit coalition of producers and consumers moving farm practices and food systems into a sustainable future.
